about

A song I wrote about my experiences during the eclipse season in January and the soul-guided journey that took me from LA to Austin, TX. During the two days of writing and recording, it opened my mind to how these experiences brought forward a new part of myself. How following your heart is healing.

lyrics

I dreamt I left all my fears
and drove all night
what I found in this place, it is haunting
but it feels right

I've never seen the night so dark
It all feels strange when I'm alone
but when I look up I feel love
I feel safe in all the stars
and when I want to close my eyes

I find my strength inside

The path ahead has been changing
right before my eyes
you lead me in ways that were waiting
for us to go inside

All these colors, smoke and dust
in the moment I am lost
am I still on earth at all?
it's unfamiliar to my soul
but there's a voice inside my head saying

The life that you knew is dead
There is no going back to it
I will be there for you when
You can't see what lies ahead

The life that you knew is dead

So just relax and breath it in
you'll want to remember
the days when you moved like the wind
nothing held you back
you saw in the numbers, a message
and it made you smile
you've got all you need for this journey
just a little further now

just a little further now
